News-byte from CYBERMATE aka GINA.
It's been finally 2 weeks since I entered the new company. And finally, my PC is back home so you can expect this post to be as long as it is supposed to be.
My CEO asked me how do I find working in his company? If he have asked a week ago, the answer would be "I don't know if I can cope". But since he asked this week, much has changed within me. I am actually enjoying work and I told him so. I told him I am happy working and he laughed at my statement. I guess not many will go around and say that they are happy working, but I am one of the weirdos who do that.
He is right one way or another - I did improved much more than the first week I was at work. The one person who refuse to call companies because of uncertainty, the one person who wouldn't speak louder than a mouse - that person has changed lots. And I can't believe that person is me.
The management team thinks that I am doing an amazing job. Amazing is not the word that I would use to describe it though. I would say that I am proud that I can actually do what I am doing at work - calling big Clients, getting appointments and permissions, obtaining the rights to use images and all that. It's so not me. I am finally talking more than writing at work. Haha! I call that BIG ACHIEVEMENTS!
Happy Pill 1 - I am able to finish all the work I am supposed to.
Happy Pill 2 - I am actually calling big companies to talk to them.
Happy Pill 3 - My boss is happy with my progress and work.
Happy Pill 4 - Work is no longer routine and boring, but different and interesting.
Happy Pill 5 - I found a friend who is willing to sponsor a website for me. I can finally have a website of my own, without all those irritating ads.
It's just such a happy day, isn't it? And I just realise how proud I am of myself.
